CREATED ISSUE: updating the 2 fields should be done in one transaction

when you look at the history - you see 2 updates:
one for the completed work and one for the remaining.
Those 2 fields should be updated together.

Automatically decrementing the Remaining Work field is a poor assumption that the estimate is accurate from the very beginning. It would be idea if the user was prompted on a stop event for the current estimate of Remaining Work.

If somebody really found it valuable to automatically decrement the remaining work, this dialog could have a check box to automatically decrement, and to "not show this dialog again". This would be more useful if the remaining work is being used as a budget. It might be useful to give popup alerts in this case when they are getting near the estimated time.

In our case we'll probably leave the work remaining field being auto-decremented by this app, but add a "budget" field to the work item which is the original estimate/budget - mostly for historical purposes.

But I agree that there should be warnings to the developer if the work remaining is zero or near zero and require a re-estimate of the work remaining.

At the moment, all of the build details for a build are retrieved as part of the build polling process. It would be nice of only the most recent build information could be requested from TFS.

It would be useful if the current results of the build could be retrieved through a context menu assocated with the build notification icon.

Along with tracking time, it would be useful if the TimeTracker application also tracked the status of certain builds. A visual representation of the build's status is placed into the systray.

Whenever you update a work item, it would be beneficial to prompt for a history comment. For example, if a work item has an estimate of 10 hours, and you complete 5 hours, when you stop the work, it would prompt for all this information, and a comment to explain what you did, and why the estimate & completed fields have changed the way they have.

If you are starting a work item that has a 0 remaining work estimate, then we should prompt them before they begin of the estimate.
